1. How to prepare the presentationBefore each presentation, Prof. Psaltis will give us a Basic Reading, and 2-3 more References (Available on this site or hardcopies).2. Useful Websites
Everyone should read the Basic Reading in advance.
The presentor will read all the papers and perhaps more materials he or she gets from the web searching and patent searching.
The presentation should include at least three things:
- The first is the basic theory of the topic;
- The second is how this topic is related to Optical Networks: advantages and disadvantages, applications...
- The third is the topic in industry, for example, the companys that make this component, a specification of a real product, a patent on the topic...
- Finally some lastest advance or something fun about the topic should be presented.
